Collegians: Cameron Ott of Kingston graduates from Emporia State University

Cameron Ott of Kingston graduated from Emporia State University in Kansas, with a master of science degree in health, physical education and recreation.

Gabriel Gervai of Glenford graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Fla., with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and Business. Gervai was also awarded the International Business & Marketing departmental award.

Two area residents — Daniel Ball of Saugerties and Zachary Baum of Gardiner — graduated from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., on Dec. 16, 2023.

Two area residents — Riley Brutvan of Gardiner and Briahna Curcio of Staatsburg — wee named to the president’s list at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut, for the fall semester.

Students earn president’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.75 or higher.

Students earn dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average from 3.0 to 3.749.

Potter is majoring in sports management and is the son of Melissa Potter and Kyle Potter. Hart is majoring in interior architecture and is the daughter of Tara Camo-Hart and Daniel Hart. Chason is majoring in education and is the daughter of Leslie Chason and Joshua Chason.

Warner is majoring in business management and is the son of Michelle Warner and Dean Warner. Zimmerman is majoring in education and is the daughter of Jamie Zimmerman and Kurt Zimmerman. Putnam is majoring in exercise science and is the daughter of Bonnie Kelleher and Todd Putnam.
