SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — There will be “So Much To Do on 06.22” in Sioux City, according to Downtown Partners.

Downtown Partners is planning a day-long celebration that will take over downtown Sioux City on June 22.

“We are thrilled to offer this diverse lineup of events for our community,” said Executive Director at Downtown Partners Sioux City Ragen Cote. “There’s So Much To Do on 06.22″ promises something for everyone, making it the perfect way to celebrate summer in downtown Sioux City.”

The event has activities for all ages planned, including food, music, art, and more.

According to a release, activities will be kicking of at 8 a.m. when the Sioux City Farmers Market opens up.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Siouxlanders can hit up downtown for Art Affair, an open art gallery that will be showcasing local artists. The event is free to attend, but any and all proceeds will benefit ArtSUX for Kids.

From noon until 3 p.m., you can swing by the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Battery Park for Rib Fest. Rib Fest is a fundraiser that benefits Camp High Hopes and helps kids attend the camp. Plenty of barbeque will be up for eating ranging from chicken to ribs.

Once you’re done filling up on barbeque, three different stages featuring music, comedy, and many other activities will be set up on HIstoric Fourth Street.

June Jam will feature a variety of music, acts, and activities, including music from a 712 Hip Hop Showcase, The Jammers, Bad Actors, Blynd Ambyssion, Fair to Compare, Dame’s Rocket, music headliners Above the Covers, and GyspyLover. The Siouxland Comedy Club will feature a DJ and karaoke, as well as a comedy roast, stand-up acts, and an interactive game.

Performances aside, there will also be activities such as a mechanical bull, a sand volleyball tournament, and a variety of vendors.

June Jam is an adult-themed event for attendees over the age of 21.

If you’re interested in being a vendor at June Jam, you can register by filling out a form on the June Jam Facebook page or by visiting any bar found along Historic 4th Street.
